Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
- Age, repair history, and rising energy bills are the three signs. As a rule of thumb, if your system is over 12 years old and the repair quote is close to half the cost of a new one, replacement is usually the better number. We’ll walk you through your specific numbers before you decide.
- How long does a system replacement take once it’s scheduled?
- Most single-system replacements are completed in a day of on-site work. We’ll confirm the exact timeline for your home, and when we can get to it, at the time we quote the job.
- What determines the cost of a system replacement?
- The main factors are system size (tonnage) for your home’s square footage, the efficiency rating (SEER) you choose, the condition of your existing ductwork, and the brand and model. We’ll walk through all four when we quote your job, in writing, before any work starts.
- Do you offer financing on a new system?
- Yes, through our financing partner GoodLeap. See our financing page for details, or ask when we quote your job. Financing is subject to credit approval.
